Title: " Trick or Treat"
It really happened once
In the small neighborhood of Texas.
Richard came to his far -relative grandma
With his New yorker friend Nicholas
To give grandma a treat of surprise
by unexpected sudden visit !
Reaching near, Richard noticed the house dark
But it was lighted up as soon as the door was knocked;!'
Ever smiling grandma welcomed ,"Why are you so late ? Their faces were hidden by the mask they held
"yes , sure" With mysterious smile , she replied;
Following her up to the dining hall they noticed with awe
Arrangement of what a grand party ! in this house, rarely he saw .
Food flowers, finest crockary and a pumpkin for decor!
Just then Richard heard another door -bell !
He saw neighborhood uncle Mr. Lockwood
Standing at the door front, he interrogated:
"I came curiously to see who has lighted the house?"
He enquired hesitatingly ,"how do you get the sad news ?"
Sadly he conveyed , "Mrs swift passed away
Yesterday evening ,Without any suffering !
Just after cremation rituals I'am now coming!"
He handed over the house-key before leaving,
To bewildered Richard in tension and agony ;
No sooner, the light went off
Keping them in the house in eerie dark!
Looking back once again to the dark,
Richard came out with Nicholas.
While locking the door, grandma's pet black cat
Darted inside, declaring "Me-Own!"
