Cherishing Winter In Covid-19
How nice to watch the flakes of snow
Cocktail with crazy skiing tourists
On the white sheet of snow;
Through the glass window,
With sipping steamy coffee,
Lying slanting on pillow
Under the warm quilt by fireplace!
Before Covid-19 haunting memory of going office
By subway train, bicycle or metro-bus,
Confronting the chunk of snow like obstacle race ;
However cautious, treacherous road becomes pitiless !
Camouflaged snow often plays cruel game to leg;
Forgetting pain, quick survey of whether any witness
Enjoying the free fun from the crowd or fancy shop
Peeping through the show-case!
Now the prediction of snow-storm or flurries,
Keeps the scenario of busy days more easy
Mass psychology is ‘stable’ in apparently
Unpredicted catastrophe;
“Work at home “ in the winter is not
Bad at all, in prolonged pandemic !
