Yesterday I spent long hours. for wishing Happy Bengali Newyear ( NOBOBORSO) to my relatives and
some old connections who have connected me through FACEBOOK. Thanks. to Facebook : for such a social connectivity.
I was thinking. A river truly represents the life . ...A river has two sides; the bank of one side thinks with heavy sigh that all joys and fun are owned by the other side of bank ; the other side of bank also thinks the same.........I forget the title of that poem......
Friends and relatives were cheering about my glorious stay in New York while I was roaming back-steps, not remembering so much of celebrating New year in India but the sad memory of last period of my mother's painful days in hospital bed from April 7th to June 4th,1987. It is 36years!!
( April 14 ,2023 )
It is so sad and different 'Nobobarsho' from the last year!
My second brother, Bimalendu Mazumdar passed away on the day of Bengali New year..... From now on all future new year will bring brother's memories. He was not only good and great as my brother but respected and loved by each and all who came in his contact.
He had extra-ordinary bright career both as student and career as mining engineer, in WBC. After retirement he was busy in consultancy Farm. We became close to each other during our stay in Mumbai : Cherishing those days that bring back childhood love and affection for the second time. Every Friday he used to spend with me and my daughter, his beloved niece, in Mumbai apartment ,.......
He left behind bereaved wife and two daughters.
