America is not a land of poetry-loving culture. In the origin of its consciousness we do not have a Homer,Virgil Dante or Shakespeare to put an imprint on language itself.American myth belongs to politics and power, not to poetry.
A great civilization yearns for a grand poetic myths sustaining vision to bond its successive generation with a sense of common heritage, values and aspirations.
We can not see the future but we can predict that ;.. ..knowledge which separates feelings from imagination causes most harms and ills to future generation, as well as modern psyche.
The history of (poety) can be unfolding parable. After the recent upheavals of climate catastrophe, global warming and Covid 19, the global visionaries have realized the importance of simple story ,through legend and mythology ; it dawns in their mind that it is the high time to. replace the poets play -writes be chosen to lead the future.
The noises from 2016 to 2020 in America were multiple: some were old existing problems such as climate pollution, global warming ,ice-melting immigration issue, racism ,demographic change, apprehension about the future of election etc; in addition, some were new issues: such as ripple of "black lives matter"amidst the tsunami of pandemic virus of Covid-19 which shook the global plinth with fear, insecurity and morbid psychosis! Though the problem was global but its impact for America was too grave to count on ;because 2020 was the year of presidential election.
Election took place on the right date with exact precision and without hassle.It was surprising for me to notice the American mass -psychology of post election and post inauguration era ............
Has America reached the golden age of poetry? Hope,it is not lucky lottery ticket of mere emotional product or / emotional fever?
A young 22 year poetess Amanda Gorman's poem captured the people's mind of this country; (..right time right person, right words "for climbing up on the top of hill").
As if ,neither the victory of Biden nor the defeat of Trump but the main event was a poetry contest ! Amanda Gorman surged into lime light, shadowing the greatest event of a democratic country! Was it more thrilling than surprising?
2021has brought us hope after prolonged waiting: the vaccine to protect against the viral virus and also opened a new horizon simultaneously;....it is a tectonic shift of a capitalistic country to the poetic land of elites.
Well, we must not forget wading in the new wave , "History has its eyes on us "............

Let me quote a relevant poem composed by me just after the inauguration -ceremony :
Challenging Time and Covid-19
We are passing through turbulent time;
Global warming ,snow melting finally Covid-19
But time marches with the seasons
In its regular pace and rhythm:
Cheerful spring gives way to
Awesome autumn followed by warm summer;
Unkind winter waits to declare the year ending;
But may still continue the the uncertainty of Covid-19.
During the peek of pandemic, the new green leaves
Of the spring cherished the message of bliss:
To regain lost courage ,hope and dream!
Human race campaigned four billion years
With many more lethal viruses
But didn't extinguished;(as other specie like dinosaurus)
He still reigns over the universe;
So why should we be anxious?
Time leaps over the heaps of corpse ,
As if, passing over the bough of cherry blossoms,
Can't we get rid of worries and fears of virus ?
Chariot of time will carry us ,defying all obstacles .
