Sipra's Diary: Poem> MOUNTAIN

                     MOUNTAIN > [ part-1]

The mountain, hard strong and stubborn

Stands still by its own, ages eon, not known

Since ages eon, he was still standing alone.

Sun, rain, wind throughout the season,

Failed to disturb him for long .

He was unaware that his body has crack!

One morning he was shocked but amazed

With the mystifying soft cooling touch,

Of some shiny silver-line of water

Melting down through his crack!

Curiously as he broadened his heart—

Instantly foamy snow-white ripples of stream

Poured  down fluttering with new vitality,

And musical sound echoed all  around;

The mountain yelled, ‘don’t leave me alone;

Stop going far, stay embracing me, darling!’

Giggling and bouncing answered the stream

‘My life is in flowing!’ how to share you

How much fun and romance lie ahead

To explore the pristine land, by cutting edge,

I’m never destined to be stagnant in one!

I can’t stop until I meet my beloved ocean.

The mountain could neither move nor yell

Only some pieces of rock dropped down

From his mournful cracked heart,

To be swept away by the flowing river!

The stream assured him humming as she running,

“I may come back to you some day,

If raging sun of summer elopes me

In the windy chariot of floating cloud

To be dashed against your lofty body

As shower of rain to calm you,  rocky dear!

Though I’m not sure whether you or

Your brethren  will give me shelter !

In silent pain the mountain remained mum

Only to swear silently, ’once  you come back

I will captivate you in my deep heart

  And never  to be released  at any cost .

               MOUNTAIN  [ Part -2]

Kind Nature kisses soothingly on

The crack of Rocky Mountain;

No sooner the cracks were covered

With  mossy green, soft and velvet;

Rain showers to adorn the Valley of rock

To fulfill  loving  Nature's wish !

With timber at bottom and rich greenery.

 Chirping birds gather to cheer up  in the morning;

 The peaks were crowned with silvery snow

To glitter so gorgeous  with sun's reflection

To make envy even the heaven!

Nature consoles rocky in her lap

"Are you happy now,  my son?

"your body is now covered with gorgeous green

The peaks glitter with silvery crown;

Wherever the 'restless 'stream flows down,

 Bound to wash your feet first until to  meet the end

Lots of stream may origin from your bosom,

To  touch and worship your  feet

You are no more alone, my son!

Always be with flora and fauna for fun.
