BLOOM .....[.rejected in Florida OPAP]
Can you infer how far is boom from bloom ?
Only two steps forward may cause a doom
If only 'L' comes to be added one stop with boom !
Both of them burst forth in their own way:
One sparks smoke and fire, while the other
Spreads message by fragrance in the air.
Presence of ‘L’ adds love and beauty
So bloom is welcomed by everybody.
If essence of love is blended with ‘boom’
What fun will play the metal weapon?
Imagine! By pulling pressure on each trigger
Boquet of flowers will shower in place of bullets,
Daffodil , cherry blossom, tulip or blue bonnet;
Imagine!............
At the end of day battlefield will be a bed of petals,
Instead of stained corpses or wounded mortal fatals !
Will the team of Romeo Juliet be seen in the evening
Out of grave crowding for delayed honeymoon?
Who can initiate the marriage of boom with bloom?
Only the poets can think such absurd ….
As the ‘poetic License’ allows to defy the real world
Feeding on abundant freedom of fantasy!
Wow!!
Why fantasy never turns itself into reality?...........

...War is now sprawling throughout the globe ; sprawling its black wings ; Ukraine , Iran . Pakistan, Bangladesh, one by one , a game of 'break ups ' & momentary selfish 'ally' .........
Suddenly I found this poem of mine : perhaps written when the news of Ukraine bombing created turmoil in my mind ..........
